Why are we migrating to Zoom Single Sign-On?
- Streamlined Access: With Zoom SSO, you’ll enjoy a simplified login process. Your existing PCCAD credentials will be used, reducing the need to remember multiple passwords and usernames. This means faster and more convenient access to our platform.
- Enhanced Security: Your privacy and data security are our utmost priority. By leveraging Zoom’s robust SSO solution, we are strengthening our security measures, reducing the risk of unauthorized access, and ensuring your information remains protected.
- Centralized User Management: Zoom SSO enables centralized user management, allowing for seamless onboarding and offboarding of team members. This way, we can ensure you have the right access at the right time.
- Integrated Collaboration: Integrating with Zoom SSO enhances our collaboration features, making it easier for you to interact with other users, join meetings, and access shared resources within our platform.
How does this affect you?
- Single Set of Credentials: Once we complete the migration, you will log in to our platform using your PCCAD account credentials (same credentials you use for your email). If you already have a Zoom account, there’s no need to create a new one. Your existing credentials will work seamlessly.
- Smooth Transition: We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. Our support team will be available to assist you throughout the process and answer any questions you may have.
- No Data Loss: Rest assured that all your data and settings will be preserved during the migration. You won’t lose any information, and you can continue using our platform just as before, now with the added benefits of Zoom SSO.

Logging into Zoom SSO :
- To login to zoom visit: http://Piedmontcc-edu.zoom.us
- Click the Sign In button.
- Remember your username is your email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) and your password is your PCCAD password (the same one you use to login to email).
If you’ve previously signed in with a different email address other than your PCC email
- ZOOM will prompt you to convert (merge) that account with the new one. Choose the option that enables you to merge the accounts.
- After selecting the merge option, a page will appear confirming that the conversion process has begun, which may take some time. You can close that browser tab as it doesn’t update in real-time.
- Next, you’ll receive an email to activate your account. Open the email and click on the provided link, which will automatically log you into your account.
If this is your first login, it may ask you to confirm your email address
- Double-check your email address, and then click on the “Confirm Your Email Address” button.
- Shortly, you’ll receive an email from Zoom confirming the association with your email account. Open the email and click the “Activate Account” button highlighted in blue.
- Your web browser should automatically open. Click on the “Sign in with SSO” button, also highlighted in blue.
- You might be prompted to log in or directly taken to your Zoom page based on your account status.
