Earn a national credential and higher employment opportunity from logistics training at PCC

Walmart Grocery Distribution Center and Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) have collaborated to employ applicants who have secured a foundational-level MSSC Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) certification or mid-level technical MSSC Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification. Piedmont Community College (PCC) is a proud sponsor of this training in April.

The Courier-Times reports on PCC's Kick Butts Day, hosted by students in the Nursing program

PCC received two grants to support the initiative to go tobacco-free: The first was a $13,102 grant from The American Cancer Society and CVS Health Foundation awarded in September, 2016, as part of their Tobacco-Free Generation Campus Initiative. The second was a $10,000 grant awarded on June 10, 2016, from Truth Initiative Smoke-Free College program.

PCC to offer Notary Public class in Person and Caswell counties

The first class will be held in Caswell County on Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5, 6–9 p.m. on the Caswell County Campus. The Person County course will be held on Monday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 10, 6–9 p.m., at the College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center.
