Certification leads to new job for PCC student David Shaw

Shaw enrolled in Piedmont Community College’s short term Siemens Level I training when it was first offered in May, passing the national exam in June. Two months later he is earning a paycheck through a paid internship at Spuntech Industries, Inc. and continuing his education in PCC’s Electrical Electronics Technology curriculum program. Fall Registration now open at PCC; Extended hours on July 19-20 & 26-27

Interested in taking college classes this fall? The staff at Piedmont Community College is available Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. each week to help you with advising and registration. To make it more accessible for those who are unavailable before 5 p.m., the College staff will be on hand until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, Thursday, July 20, Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27 on both the Person and Caswell County Campuses.

Students get hands-on experience with multiple PCC programs during Summer Institute

Students from six high schools learned about various PCC programs, toured PCC's two campuses and four local industries, and gained insight about resources available to them for their future educational goals from a local leader.
