Piedmont Community College Foundation announces scholarship opportunities for summer and fall students

The PCC Foundation will be accepting scholarship applications for summer and early fall scholarships opportunities from March 15 – April 15. A second round of awards will be available for fall funding closer to the start of the semester. Spring scholarship applications are also available later in the year.

Piedmont Community College offers HiSET as an alternative to GED® testing

Students at Piedmont Community College (PCC) now have the opportunity to choose their high school equivalency certificate exam. The traditional GED® exam and the new High School Equivalency Test HiSET are both available on the Person and Caswell County campuses.

Registration open now for 2nd eight-week classes at Piedmont Community College

If you missed the deadline to enroll for college classes at Piedmont Community College for Spring 2016, it’s not too late! PCC will offer several “late start” courses this Spring beginning March 10. Each course is designed as an accelerated eight-week session and will run through mid-May.

Duke Energy awards over $248,000 to Piedmont Community College

Funds from the Duke Energy grant will be used to support the creation of a Mechatronics Engineering Technology program at the college. This program will benefit curriculum students, as well as local industries and their employees.
