PCC to host Chamber Music Theatre performance celebrating women

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Piedmont Community College will host the live theatrical and musical performance, “Ain’t I a Woman!” from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 at the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex (KCAC). The event is free and open to the public. However, if attendees wish to make a donation, gifts will be contributed to the PCC Foundation Scholarship Program. Community invited to presentation by Photographer and New York’s School of Visual Arts faculty member at PCC on March 16

Piedmont Community College is pleased to welcome Connecticut resident Russell Hart to the Person County Campus on March 16, at 3 p.m. for a presentation. This event will take place in the Barnette Auditorium (Building D, Room 101) and is free and open to the public.

The work of two PCC students displayed at an International Computer Graphics Conference this month

Piedmont Community College students Micah Yarber and Patrick McCoy were asked to display six pieces of artwork created in their Digital Effects and Animation Technology (DEAT) classes at the College. The work will be showcased at the International 2015 SIGGRAPH (Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques) conference in California from August 9-13.
