Hello and welcome to Piedmont Community College's Health and Natural Sciences page! Thank you for your interest in our programs! I look forward to meeting you in person and helping you achieve your academic goals. The Health Sciences and Human Services Department of the College offers several program options to help you meet your educational needs, including certificates and associate degrees. Our options include Associate Degrees in Nursing, Medical Assisting, Human Services Technology, and Healthcare Management Technology. The Human Services Technology program offers a generic program and concentrations in Social Services and Gerontology. Certificates are available in Nurse Aide (Certified Nurse Aide I and II), Phlebotomy, Medical Coding, and Gerontology.
Faculty in each of these programs are dedicated and passionate about passing on their knowledge in their field of expertise. The courses offer challenging and rewarding experiences and offer wonderful career opportunities. Our graduates seek employment locally in Person and Caswell counties, as well as in the surrounding healthcare areas, especially in Durham and Chapel Hill. We pride ourselves in creating high quality graduates who are hired easily, often before graduating from their program.
If you would like more information on any of our programs, please don't hesitate to contact the program coordinator listed on each program webpage or me. I can be reached at (336) 322-2213 or
