In addition to completing core general education requirements, PCC’s AFA-VA program allows the student to select additional general education, pre-major, and elective courses in consultation with the targeted 4-year program to which they are seeking to transfer.
Courses are eligible for transfer to a 4-year institution. Fine Arts programs, however, are subject to requirements of the 4-year institution with regard to how the credits are applied (general education, major area, or electives). Coursework should be planned in collaboration with the targeted 4-year program.
