This is an entry-level, international, vendor-neutral credential that focuses on the latest trends and techniques for IT security professionals to identify risk, participate in risk mitigation activities, provide infrastructure, information, operational, and application security.
This credential verifies the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to:
- Assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions;
- Monitor and secure hybrid environments, including cloud, mobile, and IoT;
- Operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies, including principles of governance, risk, and compliance;
- Identify, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents.

Pharmacy Technician, Part I: May 4 – July 13 with a registration deadline of April 27
This Tuesday/Thursday, 7-10 p.m., online course prepares students to be professional Pharmacy Technicians dedicated to assisting in quality pharmacy operational procedures.
Upon completion, students have the opportunity for Work Based Learning with national affiliation partners like CVS and Walgreens, or local pharmacy operations near their residence. Once students complete their internship, they can sit for the National Board Exam.

OHSA Forklift
Learn core topics include forklift design, controls and instrumentation, pre-use inspection, safety awareness, and forklift stability. This course will be at PCC’s Caswell County Campus, meets the training requirement for OSHA regulations, and has a registration fee of $76. Small, Unmanned Aerial System Pilot Training
Learn drone piloting skills, various systems, and industry applications as you prepare for the FFA certification exam. Only 15 seats available in the drone course taught by Roxboro Police Department Detective, Jason Howe. This course is May 3 – 5, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on PCC’s Caswell County Campus. EMT Initial
The Emergency Medical Technician certification program is designed to train an individual to function independently in a medical emergency. This course provides the basic knowledge and skills needed to deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) care and is required to progress on to more advanced levels of prehospital patient care.

Manicure/Nail Technology
This course covers techniques of nail technology, hand and arm massage, and recognition of nail disease and disorders. Upon completion, students should be able to safely and competently perform nail care, including manicures, pedicures, massage decorating, and artificial applications in a salon setting. The registration fee for part I is $133 and is offered May 31 – July 15, Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Part II section is $189 and begins in August.
