Employers are excitedly seeking ambitious new employees eager to learn, collaborate, and make a positive impact in their careers. Piedmont Community College (PCC) is hosting a job fair, open to students and the community, with more than 40 combined employers on its Caswell and Person County Campuses.

The Caswell County Campus (331 Piedmont Drive, Yanceyville) job fair is on April 26 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Building K, Room 202. On PCC’s Person Campus (1715 College Drive, Roxboro), the event is the following day, April 27, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Building S, Room 100. Both campuses will have signs directing guests to the correct location.

Each location has a variety of employers, allowing students and guests to seek out the career that best suits them. Opportunities include healthcare, manufacturing, cosmetology, animal care, agriculture, public service, sales, administration, hospitality, the military, and linking with staffing support services.

“We are excited to connect students and community members to local and regional employers who are ready to hire,” said Karla Sears, PCC’s Career Services and Accessibility Coordinator. “These employers understand that PCC graduates have the skills and training to be successful employees.”

Sears continued, “Many students earn national credentials, while others completed work-based learning here at the College, giving them real-world experiences. I can’t wait to hear about all the connections made during our job fairs.”

A complete list of visiting employers is available at www.piedmontcc.edu/job-fair. It is suggested that prospective employees dress professionally and join prepared with plenty of copies of their updated resumes.
