Students travel from across the state to hear PCC speaker in 2-day seminar

Bob Page, internationally known speaker, instructor, author, and paramedic, recently shared his knowledge at Piedmont Community College in a two-day seminar, his only scheduled seminar in North Carolina this year. During the event, Page worked with students from as far as Tennessee, teaching his Multi-Lead Medics 12 Lead course and Capnography course.

PCC awarded nearly $200,000 from Golden Leaf Foundation grant for short-term training

The program will benefit workers and students in Caswell, Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance, and Warren counties, former tobacco-dependent, economically distressed, rural communities, by providing pathways to employment in advanced manufacturing. PCC will offer Medication Tech Training beginning April 30

The Med Tech course prepares unlicensed personnel to take the North Carolina Adult Care Medication Test that enables them to give medications in adult care homes, assisted living facilities and group homes.
