PCC to offer Certified Production Technician training with possible paid internships through local companies

The next training opportunity where students can earn an industry-recognized credential will be held April 8 – June 4. This class will meet from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays in Person County. To enroll in PCC’s Certified Production Technician training or for information about possible funding, contact PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156 or (336) 599-4620. Financial assistance may be available to qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.

Earn a national credential at PCC’s Certified Logistics Technician training

Handgun Safety Course available at PCC on March 23

Instructor Lynn Ward has over 20 years experience at PCC and will teach the Handgun Safety course on Saturday, March 23. The 8-hour class will be held from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and fulfills the course requirement for obtaining a concealed carry handgun permit. Get Non-Healthcare provider CPR, First-Aid, and AED training at PCC

PCC offers New Bridge to Career Scholarship Program from SECU Foundation; 8 scholarships remaining

At this time, 22 scholarships have been awarded at PCC. Eight are still remaining and can assist with courses such as Cardiovascular Technician, Phlebotomy, EMT Basic, Certified Logistics Technician, Certified Production Technician, Advanced Manufacturing, and HVAC.
