UNCG bringing RN to BSN program to Piedmont Community College

Piedmont Community College is partnering with The University of North Carolina at Greensboro to bring a world-class RN to BSN program closer to the nurses who serve the area. The partnership will provide a seamless transition for registered nurses with associate’s degrees to earn a bachelor’s degree from UNCG while bypassing the one hour and 15 minute drive to Greensboro.

Guest speakers included motivational speaker President of Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, Dr. Joseph Seabrooks, Jr., and professional golfer, Jimmy Thorpe.

GED® Testing Service changes may benefit PCC Students

North Carolina will join 32 states in recognizing the GED® Testing Service revisions to the passing scores, as well as performance levels, for its high school equivalency test. Revisions will be retroactive to January 1, 2014.
