PCC to offer Notary Public class

Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Notary Public course covers information necessary for you to be able to apply for North Carolina Notary Public commissions. Instruction includes a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Speak and write English

The next Notary Public class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, October 15 and 17, 6–9 p.m. at PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.

Registration and payment of the $70 fee is required prior to the class date to reserve your seat. In addition, students will need to purchase the current 2016 Notary Public book prior to class, available at PCC’s Person County Campus Bookstore or online at www.pccstore.com. The notary book is available for purchase at the PCC Bookstore. To register, call (336) 599-0032.
