Piedmont Community College will offer an afternoon section of Nurse Aide I training on the Caswell County Campus during the Spring Semester. The section will be held April 2-June 24, Mon.-Thurs., 2:15-5:30 p.m.

Instruction provided in Nurse Aide I training will prepare the student to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Test for placement on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. Successful completion of the training and competency test will enable the student to seek employment in the health care industry as a Certified Nurse Aide I.

Pre-registration is required. The registration fee is $183. A textbook is required and is available for purchase from the College Bookstore. Students are also required to bring a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff to use in the class, also available at the PCC Bookstore. Upon the successful completion of the course, a competency test fee of $101 is payable to the testing agency.
