Free Youth Entrepreneurship Camp to be held at PCC
Piedmont Community College’s Business
Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) and NC REAL Enterprises will sponsor
a week-long Youth Entrepreneurship Camp. The camp will be held Monday –
Thursday, July 30-Aug. 2 on PCC’s Person County Campus in Roxboro in Room D120
from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
The camp is open to students who will
enter grades 7-9 in August. Students
will learn the basics of starting their own business in a fun and interactive
environment. They also will learn to look for business opportunities in the
community, work as a team to develop business ideas, create a plan, meet
entrepreneurs, compete for prizes and even film a commercial!
The camp will be offered at no
charge to participants, and lunch will be provided each day. Registration is
