Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer a free Introduction to Computer Skills course on the Caswell County Campus from March 16 – May 11. This class will be held on Monday, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Ready to learn the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint and how you can use these programs in day-to-day settings as well as in job search efforts? Then this class is for you!

Participants will learn and work on:
• Typing skills
• Resume building in Microsoft Word and in NC Works (necessary for effective job search in NC)
• Information technology in the workplace
• Basic online job search, including downloading applications, submitting resumes, and researching specific companies

The course is free to unemployed or underemployed individuals. Space is limited! Students are encouraged to pre-register for class by calling the Workforce Development Team at (336) 694-8064.
