Local companies are hiring and Piedmont Community College (PCC) can help with short-term training to ensure that you are ready for the next opportunity.
That’s right, it is time to invest in your future with training sessions that is under $200. The skills developed will be useful in local and regional businesses such as Polywood, Spuntech Industries, GKN Driveline, and Eaton Corporation.
PCC’s Advanced Manufacturing and Automation training will be held January 6 – March 30, Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Students will learn:
• Integration of mechanical, electrical (electronics)
• Fluid power (hydraulics or pneumatics)
• Robot Programming Control
• Computer technologies to control machine movements
Upon successful completion, students will earn a Siemens Level I certification and be eligible to obtain college credit by examination.
