Did you know that there is a nationwide shortage of truck drivers? With Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A truck driver training program, you can be on your way to a new, great paying career in as little as five weeks!

In partnership with TransTech, Inc., Piedmont Community College offers Truck Driver Training – CDL Class A. Classes run September 9 – October 4, Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. -5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., and will require some evening driving times. The registration fee of $3,681.25 and must be paid by September 3 for those interested in enrolling in the program.

PCC’s truck driver training program consists of extensive classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction to prepare students for the CDL Class A license skills examination. The exam is provided and administered at the completion of the course.

Space is limited, so reserve your seat in PCC’s successful Truck Driver Training CDL Class A course by calling the Workforce Development Team at (336) 599-0032 or stop by our new location on 105 North Main Street in Roxboro. Registration will close on September 3. Possible funding assistance is available, call for more information.
