Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Notary Public course covers information necessary for you to be able to apply for North Carolina Notary Public commissions. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
The Notary Public class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, August 19 & 21, 6–9 p.m., PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.
The Notary Public registration fee is $70. Students will also need to purchase the current 2016 Notary Public, which is available at the PCC Bookstore ( www.piedmontcc.edu/Bookstore ).
