During the summer, Piedmont Community College (PCC) will have team members available to assist visitors from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday (unless otherwise closed for holidays as noted on the calendar at www.piedmontcc.edu/calendar ).

The Person County Campus and Caswell County Campus will be open to the public during the summer months using the following schedule:

Person County Campus will be open:

• Saturday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Sunday: 1 p.m.-7 p.m.
Caswell County Campus will be open:

• Friday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Person County Campus visitors may still visit PCC’s Nature Trail or Rockness Monster Disc Golf Course when the campus is open.

The Rockness Monster is a 19-hole disc golf course located on the Piedmont Community College Person County Campus and is free and open to the public. The course has tee pads for beginners, intermediate, alternate, and advanced. Professional tee signs are located on every hole at the white tee and benches are behind every white and blue tee pad.

The course has received rave reviews from disc golfers, including, “Beware of the secret dragon holes as they have a hankering for some disc. This is a fun themed course that has boldery pin placement. The elevation change and dense forest make for tight shots and a premium on accuracy. The navigation and signage of this course are top notch! This is a fun course and worth the stop if you are traveling through the area,” found on https://www.discgolfscene.com/courses/Piedmont_Community_College/.

The course is located adjacent to the S Building near Parking Lot 3 and the nature trail.

Fall registration will also continue during the summer. Current and potential students may visit with academic advisors or use PCC’s website to register for upcoming fall classes. The fall schedule can be viewed at www.piedmontcc.edu/schedule.

For assistance with accessing class schedules or to talk to a counselor, apply for admission or financial aid, come to the Student Development office in Building E on the Person County Campus or Building K on the Caswell County Campus. Returning students should see their academic advisors. For admission information on the Person County Campus, call 322-2159, and for financial aid information, call 322-4004.
