Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer the Certified Production Technician (CPT) training on October 24 – December 17. This class will meet from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays on the Person County Campus.

Certified Production Technician training offers an industry-recognized credential designed by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council. Successful students can earn certificates in the following areas:
• Safety Awareness
• Manufacturing Processes
• Quality Practices
• Maintenance Awareness

Students will also gain skills in manufacturing processes that prepare them for employment in entry-level positions in the manufacturing field.

Financial assistance may be available to qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.
