In partnership with TransTech, Inc., Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer Truck Driver Training – CDL Class A on Sept. 26 – Oct. 23. That’s right! Only five weeks of training to get started in a new career where there are local and state-wide job openings.

PCC’s truck driver training program consists of extensive classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction to prepare students for the Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) skills examination. Most class meetings will be held Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., however, evening driving times are required, as well.

The skills examination will be administered at the completion of the course. Students will also earn their OSHA Forklift certification during this training. The registration fee for Truck Driver Training – CDL Class A at PCC is $3,687.25 must be paid by Sept. 20.
