Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer the HVAC-Heating training on September 4 – November 27. This course will meet 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at PCC’s Workforce Training Center located at 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro.

The HVAC-Heating program focuses on the basic fundamentals of the HVAC industry with a particular focus on the certification exams. Students will learn about:
• Common tools and equipment used by HVAC technicians
• HVAC electrical and system design
• Sizing and layout
• Generally accepted installation
• Maintenance
• Troubleshooting methods

PCC’s HVAC Technician training is being offered in two-sessions. This session addresses heating; the air conditioning session will be offered in January 2019.

To enroll in either or both of these courses or for more information, contact PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156. Financial assistance may be available to qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.
