Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer a Proofreading and Editing Precision course on February 20 – May 8. Classes will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the Person County Campus.

Develop skills essential to creating, proofreading, and editing business documents in this class. Computerized exercises are integrated in the class to give you practice in proofreading, editing, and formatting documents as you would in everyday situations. Course covers grammar, spelling, diction, punctuation, capitalization, and other usage issues.

Students will use the Proofreading and Editing Precision, 6th Edition, by Pagel and Norstrom (ISBN: 978-0-538-45046-1) which can be purchased from many online vendors. The registration fee of $70.00 should be paid by February 16.
