Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Notary Public course covers information necessary for you to be able to apply for North Carolina Notary Public commissions. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
The Notary Public class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, February 26 and 28, 6–9 p.m. at PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.
The Notary Public course is $70. You will also need to purchase the current 2016 Notary Public book prior to class (book is available at PCC’s Bookstore). Payment of the registration fee is required before the course starts. To register, call (336) 599-0032 before February 22.
