Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Notary Public course covers information necessary for you to be able to apply for North Carolina Notary Public commissions. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.

The Notary Public class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, January 22 and 24, 6–9 p.m., at PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.

The Notary Public course is $70. The North Carolina Notary Public Manual 2016 is also required for the class. The book is available at the PCC bookstore for purchase.

Payment of the registration fee is required before the course starts. To register, call (336) 599-0032 before January 18.
