Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer the Computer Literacy for Gaining Employment course on January 9 – February 20, 2018. This class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. at PCC’s Workforce Training Center, located on 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro.
With computer technology continually changing, it is easy to think you may be a dinosaur regarding computer usage. Acquiring a few basic skills gives you confidence to accomplish what you want to, whether following up on potential job prospects through email, downloading job applications or searching for jobs. Take advantage of this free training, so you can understand computer jargon, and gain proficiency on computer applications to help find employment.
To enroll in the Computer Literacy training or for more information, contact PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156 or the Workforce Training Center at (336) 599-4620. The registration fee is waived for qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.
