Interested in finding out if a career in Healthcare is for you? Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer two opportunities in September with an “Orientation to Healthcare Careers” course. The course will be taught in both Person and Caswell counties at no charge.
One course will be held on September 18 – 26, Monday – Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the PCC’s Workforce Training Center, located at 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro.
The other free orientation course will be held on September 18 – 22, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. on PCC’s Caswell County Campus, located at 331 Piedmont Drive in Yanceyville.
Those who enroll in “Orientation to Healthcare Careers” course can determine which healthcare classes are most interesting to them at no cost. Upon successful completion of the orientation program, participants are also edible for financial assistance with other training expenses that may help them obtain future employment in the medical field.
The “Orientation to Healthcare Careers” course is FREE for unemployed or underemployed individuals. Space is limited! Students are encouraged to pre-register by September 15. For further information or to register, please call the Workforce Development office at (336) 599-4620 or (336) 694-8064.
