Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer an Introduction to Spreadsheets course starting August 15 – October 31. The class will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the Person County Campus.

Instructor Peggy Bane will teach students the essentials of how to use Microsoft® Excel 2013. Students will learn how to set up a basic spreadsheet, enter and edit entries, select cells and ranges, create and modify basic formulas, format worksheets, work with multiple-sheet workbooks, and more.

Required textbook: Microsoft® Excel 2013: Introductory Skills, Labyrinth Publications.

The registration fee is $70. The estimated cost of the required textbook, Microsoft® Excel 2013: Introductory Skills, Labyrinth Publications, is $55 and can be purchased at the PCC Bookstore. Fees must be paid by Friday, August 11. To register for the Microsoft® Excel course, call PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156.
