Interested in learning if a career and Healthcare would be for you? Piedmont Community College (PCC) is offering free guidance in that area!

“Orientation to Healthcare Careers” training will be held at PCC on July 11 – July 27. This class will meet at the Workforce Training Center on 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The “Orientation to Healthcare Careers” program is a free course designed to help students with choosing a career in the healthcare industry. Students evaluate medical positions, such as certified nursing assistant, medical technician, medication aide, EMT, professional medical coding and billing, and cardiovascular technician.

Students who successfully complete the course are eligible to receive financial assistance to cover the cost of the additional training and many other related costs. The orientation course is an optional course for students not seeking future financial assistance.

Space is limited! Students are encouraged to pre-register by July 10. Call the Workforce Development Team at (336) 599-4620 or (336) 322-2156 to register or get additional information.
