The American Heart Association course on Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED for non-healthcare providers will be available through Piedmont Community College on Friday, April 28, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.
The Friday, April 28 course will be held at the College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC), located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.
The American Heart Association course $50 and which includes a CPR/First-Aid/AED card upon successful completion. Payment of the fee is required to reserve your space in the class. To register, call (336) 599-0032 by April 25.
