The Notary Public course at Piedmont Community College (PCC) will prepare the learner for appointment to the position of Notary Public in North Carolina. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
Upcoming classes will be held in Caswell and Person counties. The first class will be held in Caswell County on Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5, 6–9 p.m. in Building K, Room 151. PCC’s Caswell County Campus is located at 331 Piedmont Drive in Yanceyville. Registration is required by March 30.
The Person County course will be held on Monday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 10, 6–9 p.m., at the College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro. Registration is required by May 4.
Cost for the course is $70 plus the cost of the textbook $29.89. Payment of the fee is required to reserve space in the class. Call (336) 599-0032 to register for either date.
