Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer a time management seminar that will not only benefit small business owners, but offer tips to people who find they need help prioritizing tasks. Then, later in the month, a YouTube for business seminar will be featured. Both free seminars will be held at PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center and open to the public.
Mike Collins leads a time management seminar called “Getting it all Done” on January 17, 6 – 9 p.m. Most everyone agrees that efficient time management is the key to getting the most out of your day – and to surviving the increased business/personal pressures brought about each and every day.
From managing email to juggling your time on multiple projects, this free time management course will help you reach your goals by learning how to budget your time wisely and effectively – and help you rethink and re-prioritize on a moment’s notice.
During the seminar, participants will also learn best practices for prioritizing tasks, overcoming procrastination, improving your concentration, and dealing with frequent distractions.
The free “YouTube Channel for your Business” seminar will be held on January 19, 6- 9 p.m. This seminar will help participants tell their company’s story using videos.
Presenter Renae Simon will provide tips and tricks on how to use YouTube to market a business effectively. Those attending this free seminar will have the opportunity to setup their on YouTube account, upload a video, and learn how to add captions, tag lines, and descriptions that will help market their videos and promote their company. Since this is a hands-on seminar participants are ask to pre-register.
