Notary Public classes prepare the learner for appointment to the position of Notary Public in North Carolina. Instruction includes a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
Piedmont Community College will offer this class on Monday and Wednesday, January 23 and 25, 6–9 p.m. at the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) located at 105 N. Main Street in Roxboro.
This course has a $70 fee plus the cost of the textbook ($29.89). Payment of the registration fee is required before the class begins. Participants are encouraged to register by January 19 by calling the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
