Local employers share their thoughtsLocal Community and Industry Leaders tour Siemens Level I Classroom
Local employers have toured PCC’s Siemens Level 1 classrooms and are excited about what the program has to offer for those looking for work in Person County.

From Nikki Ward, Human Resources Manager at US Flue-Cured Tobacco:
“As we focus on our growth, we understand how important it is to have qualified and trained employees. One area of need is, and will continue to be, industrial and machinery maintenance. Qualified talent is already difficult to recruit and retain; however, through partnering with great schools such as Piedmont Community College, it is our goal to attract and employ local students who have received a quality education. With students from the Siemens Level 1 training program at PCC, we believe individuals can enter the workforce with the skills and confidence to not only help our business grow and succeed, but also experience personal success as well.”

From JoEllen Crowfoot, Human Resources Manager at Spuntech Industries, Ltd.:
“Spuntech Industries is a global leader in the nonwoven industry. Our innovative developments provide consistent, unparalleled quality and performance, enabling our customers to create new and innovative products.
