Piedmont Community College will offer Nurse Aide I Refresher training on the Person County Campus. The course will be held Nov. 1 – Dec. 5, Mon. and Tues. from 5 – 9 p.m.

The Nurse Aide I Refresher course prepares students whose listing on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry has expired within the past two years and students who are listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in another state to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Examination. The course consists of a review of basic NA I information and skills practice. Students must bring written documentation of registry listing to the first class.

Pre-registration no later than Oct. 31 is required. The registration fee is $125. Upon the successful completion of the course a competency test fee of $101 is payable to the testing agency.
