Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Notary Public course will prepare the learner for appointment to the position of Notary Public in North Carolina. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
The next class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, October 31 and November 2, 6–9 p.m., at PCC’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) located at 105 North Main Street in Roxboro.
The Notary Public course is $70 plus the cost of the textbook (approximately $30). Payment of the registration fee is required before the course starts. Those interested in registering should call (336) 599-0032 by October 27.
