Will knowing Spanish help you at work? Piedmont Community College is offering a fun interactive way to learn the language in a class held on Tuesdays, September 13 – November 29 from 5:15 – 7:15 p.m. Spanish for the Workplace, part 1 will be held on the Person County Campus, located at 1715 College Drive in Roxboro.

Join Anabela Mendes as she teaches amusing lessons throughout the class that will help beginning students learn communicative skills in Spanish. Participants will also attain an acceptable level of proficiency in four basic skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Students will also be acquainted to life in the Spanish-speaking world by cultural lessons featured in the class.

The registration fee is $70.00 and the estimated cost of the textbook is $25.00 plus tax and can be purchased at the PCC Bookstore. Fees must be paid by Friday, September 9. Register by calling the Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156.
