American Heart Association logo

This American Heart Association course covers Basic First Aid, CPR training, and AED use for the non-healthcare provider. Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants, as well as what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.

The next class will be held on Saturday, September 24, from 8 a.m.–2 p.m., at Piedmont Community College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) located at 105 N. Main Street in Roxboro.

Cost for the course is $50, which includes a CPR/First-Aid/AED card. Payment of the fee is required to reserve space in the class. Call (336) 599-0032 to register by September 21.
