This course will prepare the learner for appointment to the position of Notary Public in North Carolina. Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
The Notary Public class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, September 19 and 21, 6–10 p.m., Room K-151 at PCC’s Caswell County Campus located at 331 Piedmont Drive in Yanceyville.
Cost for the course is $70 plus the cost of the textbook $29.89. Payment of the fee is required to reserve space in the class. Please register by September 14. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
