Piedmont Community College will offer the course “Spanish for the Workplace” on Tuesday evenings beginning August 23 and ending November 8. The class will be held on the Person County Campus from 5:15 – 7:15 p.m. with Anabela Mendes as the instructor.

Amusing lessons throughout the class will help beginning students learn communicative skills in Spanish and attain an acceptable level of proficiency in four basic skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Students will also get acquainted to life in the Spanish-speaking world with cultural lessons featured in the class.

The registration fee is $70.00 and the estimated cost of the textbook is $25.00 plus tax. Fees must be paid by Friday, August 19. Register by calling Jeanette Godsey at (336) 322-2156.
