Piedmont Community College will offer an Introduction to Computers for Job Search training on Mondays and Wednesdays from July 6 – July 20. This class will meet 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at PCC’s Workforce Training Center located at 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro.

Instructor Ann Kirby will teach students with little computer experience the basic parts and functions of the computer, as well as, how to use the keyboard, setup an email account, and navigate the internet.

This class is the first class in a series of three designed to teach students how to use computer technology in their efforts to obtain a job. Information on future classes will be available soon.

To enroll in the Introduction to Computers for Job Search training offered through Piedmont Community College or for more information, contact PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 322-2156 or the Workforce Training Center at (336) 599-4620. Financial assistance is available to qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.
