Intro to Game Art and Design
Caswell County Campus – June 13 – 16
12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Would you like to create your own computer games? Gamemaker is a simple and free software you can use for game creation. Come try it out and learn how to get started on your own game.

Maya 3D Modeling and 3D Printing

Person County Campus – June 13 – 16
1 – 5 p.m.
Work on high-end animation workstations with Maya 3D Animation Software at this fun and interactive camp! It’s also a great opportunity to find out if game creation or animation could be the career for you! Watch your creations come to life with PCC’s new state-of-the-art 3D printer!

Cosmetology Camp
Caswell County Campus – June 13 – 16
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Person County Campus – June 27 – 30
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
During this camp, students will be introduced to all aspects of the beauty industry. Participants will learn the science and art of skin, hair, and nail care. This camp is hands-on with hairstyling, braiding, make-up, and caring for the skin. Student will also use mannequins as they learn how to add colors, length, and thickness to hair. Makeup techniques will be taught, as well.

Film and Video Boot Camp
Caswell County Campus – June 20 -23
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Participants will immerse themselves in hands-on activities, including operating a camera, sound, and lighting equipment, as well as editing the final projects. Get a lot of experience in this intensive four day camp.

Welding Camp
Person County Campus – June 22-24
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Participants will learn the difference between a MIG and a TIG weld, as well as other welding terminology and equipment safety.

Mechatronics Camp
Person County Campus – June 27-30
12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Undecided about whether to pursue a career in Mechanical or Electrical Technologies? Then this hands-on camp for you. Participants will have fun exploring mechanical, electrical and robotics in team situations. At the end of the camp, students will have a greater understanding of Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, and Robotics.

All PCC summer camps are free of charge. Please note that all Caswell County camps are open to rising 9th – 12th graders.
