Piedmont Community College will offer the Basic Computer Skills for Job Search course starting May 23 – June 8 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Classes are held at the Workforce Training Center, 303 S. Morgan St., in Roxboro. The class is free for anyone who is unemployed.
Instructor Ann Kirby will teach students basic computer skills, such as how to create, save, and print various job search documents, use Microsoft Word and how to develop a resume. Students are introduced to Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher and how these programs can assist in your job search efforts.
