Piedmont Community College will offer a Transitions Lab for adults who need to review basic skills in preparation for a high school equivalency test (HiSET® or GED® testing), a college placement test, entering a job training program, or employment testing.

Instruction will be designed to meet each individual person’s needs in order to help them to successfully transition to the next step or their next goal. Adults who are currently enrolled in other basic skills classes are welcome to attend and receive tutoring that will help them advance in a more efficient manner.

The Transitions Lab will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Workforce Training Center, located at 303 South Morgan Street in Roxboro.

The lab is open now through July 29 and may be free for those who qualify. There is no deadline for registration and participants can attend any Tuesday or Thursday session, requesting guidance from instructor, Pat Warren.

For more information, contact Sylvia at 336-322-2155.
