Piedmont Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar “Why Your Business Needs to be Google-ized Marketing Advantages ,” on Wednesday, March 30 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center, 105 N. Main St., Roxboro.
Is Your Business Google-ized? This seminar is ideal for small business owners, self-employed professionals, and startups. From this seminar you will get an overall understanding of what Google wants in order for you to be found in searches using inbound marketing methodologies.
If you manage your own website, you will be given tips webmasters may not want you to know. And if you have a webmaster, you will leave with a list of things to pass along that will give your online presence a boost.
Marketing is much more than just having a website. You will learn what signals Google looks to your website, how to create great content that will attract customers you have identified as ideal for what you have to offer, and how to promote your content with social media.
Did you know that more Google searches were done on phones and tablets than desktops in 2015? Capturing leads from your website – 1,000 visitors means nothing unless you communicate with them and build your list. Join us and get your business Google-ized!
The presenters will be Wayne and Sandi Sturm from Inbound Marketing Specialist, Inbound Train, Inc. Their business is a Certified Google GYBO Partner. Wayne is a Google Street View Trusted Photographer. This allows him to take 360 virtual tours of the inside of businesses and tie them in with Google Search, Google+, Google Street View and Maps.
Although the seminar will be offered at no cost to participants, pre-registration is required by March 28. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
