Piedmont Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar “How to Get Your Business on Google,” on Wednesday, March 30 from 1:30 – 3 p.m. at the Business Development Entrepreneurship Center, 105 N. Main St., Roxboro.

The class also provides a hands-on walk through of setting up a Google My Business page and touches on the subjects of Verification Profile Set Up including Contact Info, Categories, Hours and Introduction Insights, and Reviews.

The presenters will be Wayne and Sandi Sturm from Inbound Marketing Specialist, Inbound Train, Inc. Their business is a Certified Google GYBO Partner. Wayne is a Google Street View Trusted Photographer. This allows him to take 360 virtual tours of the inside of businesses and tie them in with Google Search, Google+, Google Street View and Maps. Wayne stated, “We enjoy helping small businesses because we began as a small business and at that time there was no one there to help us. We learned a lot from the school of hard knocks and love sharing what we’ve learned with others.”

Participants should bring a laptop as there are a limited number of computers in the classroom. Although the seminar will be offered at no cost to participants, pre-registration is required by March 28th. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
