Piedmont Community College will offer the Certified Production Technician (CPT) course beginning January 25 – March 9. This class will meet Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Classes are held at the Workforce Training Center, 303 S. Morgan St., in Roxboro.
Earn a nationally recognized credential! The CPT is an industry recognized credential issued by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council. Take the opportunity to learn the skills and certifications in Safety Awareness, Manufacturing Processes, Quality Practices, and Maintenance Awareness. In addition, individuals will have an opportunity to earn their North Carolina Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).

The total cost of the course is $400.00 which includes the $180 course registration fee, $60 MSSC registration fee and $160 MSSC assessment fees. Financial assistance is available to qualified unemployed, underemployed, and economically distressed individuals.
