Have you ever had a problem with looking your best because your clothes don’t fit correctly? Piedmont Community College (PCC) offers a solution with the “Sewing: Alteration Basics” class! This $35 class will be held on Thursday, September 24, 5:30 – 8 p.m. on the Person County Campus in room C113.

Learn how to hem pants and skirts, sew on buttons, and adjust waistbands for only $35! Participants should bring articles of clothing that are in need of alternations mentioned above, along with matching thread. Those unable to bring items to alter will practice on other material. Required supplies include: thread and clothing items or ½ yard of fabric (all sewing items may be purchased at Walmart).

To register for the “Sewing: Alteration Basics” class, contact the Workforce Development office at (336) 322-2156.
