Piedmont Community College’s Continuing Education program will offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course that starts Monday, August 3. Instruction on basic life support skills necessary to provide emergency medical care in hospitals, physician offices and EMS systems.

This course will start August 3 and ends December 12, 2015. Class will meet each Monday and Wednesdays 6-10 p.m., and occasional Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC), 105 N. Main Street, Roxboro. Prospective students must have a High School Diploma, GED® or HS Equivalency. Pre-registration is required by July 31.

EMT course cost includes a $194 registration fee and $150 estimated textbook.
